Our Story
Odic Labrador began in a garage in Bozeman, Montana in 2019, after one too many leads let go at the clip on a cold morning. We wanted equipment that behaved like good tack: waxed canvas that sheds water instead of soaking it, leather that softens with use rather than cracking, and hardware you can replace instead of throwing the whole thing away.
We are a small team. We work with a handful of makers who have been sewing canvas and cutting leather for longer than we have been in business, and we buy hardware from suppliers who will still answer the phone in five years. Nothing we sell is designed to be seasonal.
Every product is chosen on one test: would we put it on our own dog, in the dark, in the rain, on the third day of a trip. If it does not pass, it does not ship. That is the whole standard.
If something we made does not hold up the way it should, write to us. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
